STILLWATER, Okla. – The North Dakota State women's cross country team placed 17th out of 32 teams at the NCAA Midwest Regional on Friday morning.

The Bison women finished with 424 points, moving up one spot from 18th place a year ago.

Reagan Baesler took 32nd in the final race of her Bison cross country career, clocking 21:15.7 for the six-kilometer course.

Bison sophomore
Logan Harz finished 68th in 21:55.7, and sophomore
Mia Hoffmann was 77th in 22:03.1. Freshman
Kylie Nelson was the No. 4 runner for NDSU, taking 127th place with a time of 22:43.7. Sophomore
Jaelyn Miller completed the team scoring for the Bison in 130th place with a time of 22:45.4.

The Bison were just three points out of 14th place in the team standings.

Host Oklahoma State won the women's team title, and Northwestern claimed the second automatic qualifying spot for the NCAA Championships.
