
Hinze, Boling Sweep TicketSmarter Summit League Volleyball Weekly Awards

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Senior outside hitter Ali Hinze has been named the TicketSmarter Summit League Offensive Peak Performer of the Week and junior middle blocker Alexis Boling has been tabbed the Defensive Peak Performer of the Week, the league office announced on Tuesday.
Hinze totaled a team-best 34 kills and averaged 4.86 kills per set to go along with a .394 hitting percentage. She also added a team-best 28 digs, eight blocks and two service aces to her stat line. Hinze has logged a double-double in each of her last four matches and finished the week with a match-high 17 kills and 10 digs in the 3-1 win over Omaha.
Boling earned her first career Defensive Peak Performer of the Week award after totaling a team-high 10 total blocks and averaging 1.43 blocks per set with seven digs. The Waukesha, Wis., native also contributed 22 kills on the offensive side of the floor. Boling posted her first career double-double with a career-high 10 total blocks and 11 kills in the 3-1 win over Omaha.
