NDSU Baseball Announces 2024 Schedule

FARGO, N.D. – North Dakota State baseball head coach Tyler Oakes has announced the 2024 schedule.

The schedule features 53 total games across 10 different states. The Bison are also slated to play 16 games at Newman Outdoor Field beginning with a three-game series against South Dakota State on April 5-7.

NDSU will begin the 2024 season with a three-game series at UC Irvine on Feb. 16-18. The Bison will then play single games at Long Beach State on Feb. 20 and at Cal Poly on Feb. 21. NDSU will finish the California trip with a three-game series at Pacific on Feb. 23-25.

The Bison travel to Oregon State for a four-game series from Feb. 29-March 3. The Beavers finished last season with a 41-20 overall record and advanced to the NCAA Tournament. NDSU will then travel to the state of Louisiana for five games. The Bison will play a three-game series at Southeastern Louisiana on March 8-10. NDSU concludes the trip with a two-game series against LSU on March 12-13. The Tigers finished last season with a 54-17 overall record and won the 2023 College World Series.

NDSU opens Summit League play with a three-game series at Omaha on March 15-17 before taking on Nebraska on March 20. The Bison close the month of March with back-to-back three-game sets at Oral Roberts on March 22-24 and at St. Thomas March 28-30.

NDSU begins the month of April at Creighton for the first time since 2011 on April 3 before making its home debut with a three-game series against South Dakota State on April 5-7. The Bison then start a five-game road trip at Minnesota on April 9 followed by a three-game series at Northern Colorado on April 12-14. NDSU closes the trip at Minnesota on April 16.

NDSU wraps the month of April with seven straight home games beginning with a three-game set against Oral Roberts on April 19-21. The Bison will then host Mayville State on April 23 and finish the stretch with three games against Omaha on April 26-28.

NDSU starts the month of May at Iowa on May 1. The Hawkeyes finished last season with a 44-16 overall record and advanced to the NCAA Tournament. It will mark the first meeting between NDSU and Iowa since 2007. NDSU returns home hosting St. Thomas for three games on May 3-5 and then travels to South Dakota State on May 10-12. The Bison wrap regular season play hosting Northern Colorado on May 16-18. The Summit League Championship is scheduled for May 22-26 in Tulsa, Okla.
