NDSU Baseball Announces 2026 Schedule

FARGO, N.D. – North Dakota State baseball and head coach Tyler Oakes have announced the upcoming 2026 schedule.

The Bison are set to play 51 games with 15 games at Newman Outdoor Field. NDSU will take on 11 different opponents across 21 total non-conference games. The non-conference schedule features four opponents that qualified for the NCAA Tournament last season, including Stetson, Vanderbilt, Nebraska and Creighton.
NDSU will open the season with eight games in Florida beginning with a three-game series at Florida Gulf Coast on Feb. 13-15. The Bison travel to South Florida for their first-ever meeting with the Bulls on Feb. 17-18. NDSU concludes the Florida trip at the Stetson Tournament in Deland, Fla., against Stetson on Feb. 20 and Monmouth on Feb. 21. The Bison finish the tournament with their first-ever matchup with Virginia on Feb. 22.

NDSU wraps the month of February with a three-game series at Missouri on Feb. 27-March 1. It will mark the first meeting with the Tigers since 2005 and the third straight season NDSU has played at least one Southeastern Conference (SEC) opponent. NDSU will play a two-game midweek series at Southern Illinois on March 3-4. The Bison then travel to Nashville, Tenn., for a three-game series with Vanderbilt on March 6-8. It will be the first all-time meeting between the Bison and the Commodores.

The non-conference schedule also features a trip to Nebraska on March 11 and two matchups with Minnesota. The Bison will face the Gophers at U.S. Bank Stadium on March 17 and April 21 at Siebert Field. NDSU also travels to Creighton on April 8 and April 28.

The Bison will play a 30-game Summit League schedule and open league play with a three-game series at Omaha on March 13-15. NDSU begins its home schedule with a three-game series against Oral Roberts on March 27-29. The Summit League Tournament is scheduled for May 20-23 in St. Paul, Minn., and will be hosted by St. Thomas.

NDSU won the Summit League Tournament for the third time in program history last season and went on to make its third appearance in the NCAA Tournament in the Division I era. The Bison have notched at least one win in each of their last two tournament appearances after upending No. 23 Kansas in the Fayetteville Regional last season.
