DES MOINES, Iowa – The North Dakota State men's track & field team continued competition at the Drake Relays and the Kip Janvrin Open in Iowa on Friday.
Beau Brannan,
Keiser Freetly,
Josh Samyn and
Jacob Rodin teamed up to run 7:29.14 in the 4x800m relay for second place at Drake – the second-fastest time in school history.
Senior
Trevor Otterdahl was the Drake Relays runner-up in the shot put with a throw of 61-08.25 (18.80m).
Cam Landis took fourth in the collegiate shot put at 58-6 (17.83m). Sophomore
Kaden Pastian placed fifth with a throw of 58-1 (17.70m) – the second-best mark of his career.
Elijah Hylen cleared an outdoor personal-best of 6-08.75 (2.05m) in the high jump.
Jacob Levin clocked 48.31 in the 400m dash for fourth place.
Josh Knutson finished 12th in the 400m hurdles in 52.87.
Freshman
Jarod White cleared an outdoor PR of 16-10.25 (5.14m) in the pole vault to win the Kip Janvrin Open. He moved up to No. 3 on the NDSU all-time list.
Drake Daniels won Friday's 110m hurdles at the Kip Janvrin Open in 14.86 – the second-fastest time of his career.
The Bison will conclude competition at the Drake Relays on Saturday.
