Zach McGlynn was named the 2026 Summit League Indoor Field Athlete of the Year on Monday, the league office announced.

- Named the Summit League Indoor Championship Field MVP after securing 18 points for the Bison, who won the team title
- Secured a trio of top-five finishes and won a pair of medals at the League indoor championship
- Tied for second in the pole vault at the League indoor championship with a clearance of 17-3.50" (5.27m)
- Placed third in the long jump at the League indoor championship with a season-best mark of 24-3.75" (7.41m)
- Took fourth in the high jump at the League indoor championship, clearing 6-9.50" (2.07m)
- Won the heptathlon at the Dr. Rick McGuire Invitational with a then personal-best score of 5,975
- Broke his own heptathlon school record at the 2026 NCAA Indoor Championship with a score of 5,995 to place seventh and earn first team All-America honors
