FARGO, N.D. – For the 11th straight year, the North Dakota State volleyball team has earned the 2022-23 American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Team Academic Award, the organization announced on Thursday.

The Bison also earned a spot on the AVCA Team Academic Honor Roll with a team GPA in the top 20 percent of NCAA Division I. NDSU boasted a 3.74 cumulative team GPA last season. 

It marks the 23rd overall time NDSU has received the AVCA Team Academic Award. The award, initiated in the 1992-93 academic year, honors volleyball teams that maintain a year-long grade-point average of 3.30 on a 4.0 scale.
