Skunberg, Feddersen Help Bison Defeat Oral Roberts, 72-67

FARGO, N.D. – Boden Skunberg recorded a double-double with 20 points and 10 rebounds, and Noah Feddersen matched his season-high with 18 points to lift the North Dakota State men's basketball team to a 72-67 victory over Oral Roberts on Saturday afternoon.
NDSU improved to 9-11 overall and 2-3 in The Summit League. ORU fell to 8-11 overall and 2-4 in league play.
The Bison grabbed 13 offensive rebounds in the game, outpacing the Golden Eagles by 10 on the offensive glass. NDSU junior Andrew Morgan finished with 14 points, 13 rebounds, and a team-high four assists.
NDSU led for nearly 26 of the game's 40 minutes. The contest featured eight ties and 11 lead changes.
ORU took a 64-62 lead on a bucket by Kareem Thompson with 1:30 remaining. The Bison answered with a three-pointer from Skunberg on the next possession, and Morgan added a free throw and a layup to put NDSU up 68-64 with 40 seconds left. The Golden Eagles got a three-point play from Issac McBride to pull within one, but the Bison went 4-for-4 at the free throw line to seal the victory.
The Bison will play next at St. Thomas on Thursday, Jan. 25.
