BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The North Dakota State men's basketball team made a school-record 20 three-pointers, but ultimately lost 103-98 in overtime at Samford on Tuesday evening.

Jacari White scored a career-high 30 points to lead NDSU, making 6-of-9 from three-point range. The Bison drained 20-of-39 from downtown in the contest. The previous school record for threes in a single game by the Bison was 16, achieved four times.

Luke Kasubke started the game a perfect 7-for-7 from beyond the arc to score a career-high 21 points.

Samford extended its home-court winning streak to 22 games. The Bulldogs are the defending SoCon champions and the preseason favorite to win the conference again this year.

The Bison built a 15-point lead in the second half and held an 85-71 advantage with 3:00 left. Samford closed regulation on a 14-0 run to force overtime.

Brennan Watkins to match his career-best, and five apiece from
Jacksen Moni and
Andy Stefonowicz.
