Bison Throttle Cal State Bakersfield, 94-60, Running Win Streak to Eight

FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State men's basketball team once again led from start-to-finish, running away with a 94-60 victory over CSU Bakersfield on Monday night inside the Scheels Center.
NDSU improved to 11-4 on the season and extended its winning streak to eight games. The Bison finished off an unbeaten month of December for the first time in the school's Division I era.
The Bison scored the first 10 points of the game and pushed the margin to 33 points at 51-18 at halftime.
Ultimately, NDSU strung together a 42-8 run over a 14-minute span. The Bison led by as many as 48 points in the second half at 66-18 with 15 minutes remaining.
Senior Jacksen Moni led NDSU with 28 points and five assists. Noah Feddersen added 13 points, and Luke Kasubke finished with 12 points and six rebounds.
NDSU shot 53 percent for the game and limited the Roadrunners to 43-percent shooting. The shooting percentages were 58-31 in NDSU's favor for the first half.
The Bison drained 10 three-pointers at a 37-percent clip.
The eight-game win streak is the longest for the Bison since winning 10 in a row at the end of the 2013-14 season, when NDSU won the final seven regular season games, two in the Summit League Tournament, and defeated No. 5 seed Oklahoma in the NCAA Tournament.
NDSU will open Summit League play on Thursday, Jan. 2, with a home game vs. St. Thomas.
