Baesler Named Summit League Cross Country Athlete of the Year

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – North Dakota State senior Reagan Baesler has been named the Summit League Cross Country Athlete of the Year, the league office announced on Wednesday.
Baesler becomes the fourth Bison woman to earn the league's top honor, joining Brecca Wahlund (2013), Erin Teschuk (2014, 2015), and Kelby Anderson (2019).
Baesler won the Summit League individual title on Nov. 2, clocking a course record 20:34.1 for the 6k to win by a 24-second margin. Her time was the second-fastest winning 6k performance in Summit League Championships history.
Baesler (Mayville, N.D. / Hillsboro HS) placed 12th out of more than 230 runners at the NCAA Midwest Regional to conclude the season, securing All-Region status. She ended the season as the fourth-fastest woman on the NDSU all-time cross country list.
