ST. PAUL, Minn. – The North Dakota State women's basketball team tied a season-high 13 three-pointers to help pick up its sixth straight win at St. Thomas, 96-53, on Thursday night at Schoenecker Arena.

With the win, NDSU improves to 17-9 (11-2 Summit) on the season and extended its season-best win streak to six games. It marks the longest win streak for the Bison since winning six straight to begin last season.

Elle Evans paced the Bison with a game-high 22 points with four assists and three rebounds. Abby Graham poured in a season-high 13 points, while Taryn Hamling also netted 11 points off the bench. Abbie Draper narrowly missed a double-double with 11 points and a game-high eight rebounds.

As a team, the Bison drained a season-high 13 three pointers on 18 attempts. NDSU registered a season-best 72.2 three-point field goal percentage with eight different players hitting at least one triple. It marked the second-best all-time three-point percentage in a single-game in NDSU history. The Bison shot 73.3 percent from beyond the arc at Bentley on Dec. 12, 1998.

NDSU also handed out a season-high 27 assists with all 10 players distributing at least one. It marked the most assists in a single-game for NDSU since passing out 28 against Dakota State on Dec. 29, 2017. Abby Schulte paced the Bison tying a career-high eight assists, while Heaven Hamling and Evans each added in four of their own.

NDSU got off to a fast start finishing opening frame on an 8-3 run to grab a 22-13 edge. The Bison then pushed their lead into double digits in the second frame after six straight points finished off by a fastbreak layup from Schulte to make the score 28-15 with 8:05 to play in the half. NDSU closed out the first half with a 10-1 run that featured six points from Evans to increase its lead to 44-27 at the break. The Bison went on to close out the Tommies (14-13, 6-7 Summit) over the final two quarters to pick up the 96-53 win.

NDSU will be back in action hosting North Dakota on Saturday. Tip-off is set for 4:00 p.m., at Scheels Center.
