FARGO, N.D. – North Dakota State junior
Andrew Morgan scored 27 points to lead the Bison men's basketball team to a thrilling 73-68 victory over North Dakota on Saturday afternoon inside a packed Scheels Center.

The Bison improved to 17-7 over 24 meetings against UND in the Division I era. NDSU has now won 11 of the past 14 games against the Fighting Hawks.

With the win, NDSU climbed to 8-6 in the Summit League and third place in the league standings.

Morgan made 11-of-15 shots in the game, including 2-of-3 from beyond the arc.

The Bison trailed 61-54 with 6:30 remaining in the contest. A slashing, acrobatic bucket by
Damari Wheeler-Thomas, a dunk by Morgan, and a three from Morgan sent the 5,058 fans into a frenzy and put the Bison up 62-61 with five minutes left.

NDSU outscored UND 19-7 over the final 6:30 to pull out the win. The Bison shot 49 percent for the game and limited UND to 37-percent shooting.

Boden Skunberg scored 15 points for NDSU, and
Jacari White had 13 points, seven rebounds, three assists and three steals.
Noah Feddersen led the Bison with eight rebounds.

NDSU plays at South Dakota on Feb. 29 and hosts South Dakota State for the regular season finale on Mar. 2.
