VERMILLION, S.D. – The North Dakota State men's basketball team lost 88-68 at South Dakota on Thursday evening. The Bison fell to 15-15 overall and 8-7 in The Summit League.
Lahat Thioune had 31 points and 11 rebounds for South Dakota. The Coyotes shot 54 percent for the game and made 10-of-16 (63 percent) from beyond the arc.
Jacari White and
Andrew Morgan both scored 16 points for the Bison. White hit four three-pointers. NDSU shot 46 percent as a team and went 6-for-20 from downtown.
South Dakota led 45-31 at halftime and pushed the margin to 17 points early in the second half. NDSU cut the deficit to 11 at 65-54, but USD scored on the next two possessions.
The Bison will host South Dakota State for the regular season finale on Saturday at 1 p.m.
