GRAND FORKS, N.D. – The North Dakota State men's basketball team led for 30 minutes and built a nine-point advantage in the second half, but North Dakota closed the game with a 16-5 run to pull out a 60-58 victory on Saturday afternoon.

UND's Amar Kuljuhovic made a layup with 2.6 seconds remaining to give the Fighting Hawks the win.

The Bison shot 48 percent for the game and limited UND to 37-percent shooting, but the Fighting Hawks took advantage of 14 offensive rebounds.

Andrew Morgan led NDSU with 14 points, and
Boden Skunberg and
Jacari White both added 12.
Tajavis Miller grabbed 10 rebounds.

NDSU led 53-44 with just under eight minutes remaining. The Bison fell to 16-7 over 23 meetings in the series with UND in the Division I era.

NDSU will play Kansas City (Feb. 8) and Omaha (Feb. 10) at home next week.
