GREELEY, Colo. – The North Dakota State baseball team scored in each of the final four innings to help pick up an 11-4 win over Northern Colorado and secure the series on Sunday afternoon at Jackson Field.

Northern Colorado (7-27-1, 6-8-1 Summit) got the scoring started with an RBI single in the second inning before James Dunlap blasted an RBI double to tie the contest, 1-1, in the third inning. Sam Canton finished the frame with two-run single to steal the lead, 3-1, after three complete.

The Bears battled back in the fifth plating two runs to tie the contest, 3-3, after Dalton Miller delivered an RBI single. NDSU (10-21, 7-5 Summit) answered in the sixth inning scoring three runs on four hits to regain the lead, 6-3. Garret Hill sparked the Bison with an RBI double before Kyle Law sent an RBI single to third allowing Hill to score on a throwing error. Will Busch capped the inning with an RBI double of his own to make the score 6-3.

After Dunlap added on another run in the seventh with an RBI single to stretch the lead to 7-3, NDSU went on to plate two more runs in the eighth with an RBI triple off the bat of Cadyn Schwabe and Colten Becker followed it up with an RBI single to increase the lead to 9-3. Hill then went on to score on a wild pitch and Schwabe walked with bases loaded to send across the final run in the ninth to seal the 11-4 win in the series finale.
