FARGO, N.D. – North Dakota State softball dropped the series finale with South Dakota State 3-0 Sunday afternoon in Summit League play at Tharaldson Park.
The Jackrabbits jumped out to an early lead, capitalizing on a Bison error to score two runs in the top of the first inning. South Dakota State would then add a solo home run to extend the lead in the third inning.
Savy Williams allowed one earned run in the loss, recording three strikeouts with just one walk allowed. The Bison struck out 11 times at the plate.

Anjolee Aguilar-Beaucage reached twice on a walk and a hit by pitch.
The Bison will return to action next weekend with a three-game series against North Dakota in Grand Forks. The Bison and Fighting Hawks will play a doubleheader on Saturday April 20 and wrap the series on Sunday, April 21. First pitch scheduled for 1 p.m. both days.
