Lexi Maples has been named the Summit League Women's Field Peak Performer of the Week following her performance at a pair of meets in California on Apr. 11-12.

Maples took home the hammer throw title at the Pacific Coast Intercollegiate in Long Beach, Calif., recording a personal-best throw of 213-2 (64.97m). Her winning mark moved her up to No. 13 in the NCAA this season, No. 3 in NDSU history, and fifth all-time among New Zealanders in the event.

Maples is now the highest ranked Bison athlete on the NCAA performance lists this season.
