Bison Beat UND for 12th Time in Past 15 Meetings, 87-82

FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State men's basketball team led for nearly 38 of 40 minutes, beating North Dakota 87-82 on Saturday afternoon inside the Scheels Center.
The Bison improved to 16-6 overall and 5-2 in The Summit League with their fifth straight win. NDSU has won 13 of its last 15 games dating back to Nov. 27.
This was the 25th meeting between NDSU and UND as Division I opponents, with the Bison improving to 18-7 in those contests. NDSU has now won 12 of the past 15 games against the Fighting Hawks.
NDSU set a new school single-game record by attempting 48 three-pointers in the game, surpassing the previous team record of 40. The Bison sank 16-of-48 (33 percent) from beyond the arc.
NDSU senior Jacksen Moni led all players with 24 points, and he added a season-high 10 rebounds for his first double-double in a Bison uniform. Jacari White scored 20 points, and Tajavis Miller added 17 points and seven boards.
Attendance was 5,198 – the largest home crowd since the renovation turning the Bison Sports Arena into the Scheels Center prior to the 2016-17 season. It was the fifth home game with more than 5,000 in attendance in that same span.
The Bison host South Dakota State on Thursday, Jan. 30, at 7 p.m.
