VERMILLION, S.D. - North Dakota State women's soccer powered through a back-and-forth battle on Thursday night, scoring three second-half goals to come from behind and earn a 4-3 road victory over South Dakota in Summit League play at First Bank & Trust Soccer Complex.

Kendall Stadden led the Bison (5-8, 1-2 Summit League) with two goals, including the game-winner. After South Dakota (5-3-4, 1-1 Summit) scored the opening goal in the 14
th minute, Stadden found an equalizer in the 32
nd minute, redirecting a pass from
Isabel Garcia into the back of the net.

After halftime, Garcia struck in the 59th minute to give NDSU its first lead of the night, smashing home a rebound shot from
Morgan Russmann that came back off of the cross bar.

South Dakota was then issued a penalty kick after a VAR review for a handball, and the Coyotes answered with the penalty kick goal in the 65th minute. However, senior
Loretta Wacek put the Bison back in front in the 73rd minute, as she knocked home a rebound following a header from Garcia that was partially saved.

The Coyotes equalized again just three minutes later, setting up a dramatic finish.

Stadden provided the difference, burying her fourth goal of the season, as
Hannah Arnold's corner was headed off the post by
Onyx Kennington and then knocked in by Stadden.

NDSU closes out its two-match road swing Sunday at South Dakota State. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. at Fishback Soccer Complex.
