The North Dakota State University men's cross country team will compete at the Summit League Championships this Saturday, Nov. 1, in Ashland, Neb.
Omaha will host the meet at Mahoney State Park. The men's eight-kilometer race starts at 10 a.m., with the women's 6k to follow at 11 a.m.
NDSU is in search of its first-ever Summit League team title in men's cross country. The Bison have claimed league runner-up honors in seven of the last eight years.
Individually, Greg Liebl's second-place finish in 2007 remains the best finish by a Bison at the Summit League meet.
Senior
Jacob Knodle has been the top finisher for the Bison at all three meets he has raced this season.
Ethan Moe and
Will Gerber return from last year's NDSU scoring five at the conference meet.
The Bison men will enter the conference meet at No. 13 in the USTFCCCA Regional Rankings, coming off a runner-up finish at the Bradley Pink Classic on Oct. 17.
