NDSU Hosts CSUN, St. Scholastica on Tuesday & Wednesday this Week

The Games: The North Dakota State men's basketball team returns home to play back-to-back games this week, hosting CSU Northridge on Tuesday and St. Scholastica on Wednesday.
        Tuesday, Nov. 11          vs. CSUN                   7 p.m. CT
        Wednesday, Nov. 12     vs. St. Scholastica     7 p.m. CT
 
Where to Watch: Both games will be broadcast locally on WDAY Xtra and streamed on the Summit League Network.
 
Radio: Sam Neidermann and Dexter Werner will call the games on 107.9 The Fox and Bison 1660. Broadcasts can also be streamed on the NDSU Athletics app, as well as at GoBison.com/AllAccess for free.
 
Against CSUN: Tuesday's game will be the third meeting all-time between the Bison and Matadors, with NDSU leading the series 2-0. The Bison won 71-62 at CSUN on Dec. 11, 2019, and won 68-54 in Fargo on Dec. 10, 2021.
 
Against St. Scholastica: Wednesday will be the first-ever meeting between NDSU and St. Scholastica in men's basketball.
 
Last Time vs. CSUN: The Bison used a strong defensive effort to earn a 68-54 win over CSU Northridge on Dec. 10, 2021, at the Scheels Center. NDSU limited CSUN to 34-percent shooting in the game, including a 4-for-19 effort (21 percent) from three-point range.
        Grant Nelson and Rocky Kreuser both scored 18 points to lead NDSU, and Kreuser pulled down a career-high 14 rebounds for a double-double. Tyree Eady added nine points and 12 boards.
 
First Impressions: Markhi Strickland scored 17 points in both games of NDSU's season-opening West Coast road trip, shooting 61 percent overall. Trevian Carson averaged 8 points and 5 rebounds on the trip, including an impressive 4 offensive rebounds per game.
 
Preseason Accolades: NDSU's Noah Feddersen and Markhi Strickland were voted to the preseason All-Summit League second team. Feddersen started all 32 games for the Bison last season, averaging 8.3 points and 6.0 rebounds with 52-percent shooting. Strickland is a senior transfer from Western Michigan, where he started every game for the Broncos last year, led the team in minutes, and averaged 11.3 points per game.
 
Picked Fourth: NDSU was picked to finish fourth in The Summit League this season, according to the annual preseason poll of league head coaches, sports information directors and media.
 
Big West Slate: NDSU will play four schools from the Big West Conference this season -- UC Davis on Nov. 5, CSUN on Nov. 11, CSU Bakersfield on Dec. 11, and UC Irvine on Dec. 21.
 
Tradition of Success: The Bison have played in 9 of the past 13 Summit League Tournament championship games, dating back to 2013.
 
Head Man: Head coach David Richman has accumulated 211 wins in 11 seasons at NDSU, ranking him second in school history. He has led the Bison to seven Summit League Tournament championship games, posting a record of 18-8 in the conference tournament.
