Shutouts
With the 46-0 win over Concordia-Moorhead in the home opener, North Dakota State picked up its first team shutout in more than a decade, dating back to a 56-0 win over Itasca Community College on November 24, 2012. It was the sixth time in program history that the Bison have blanked the Cobbers. It is also the first shutout against a four-year program for the Bison since a 38-0 victory over Portland State on November 29, 2008 at the Northern Quad Duals in Rochester, Minnesota.

Ranked Bison
North Dakota State has four Bison ranked in some of the major rankings headed into the week, led by 2025 NCAA Qualifiers 157 Gavin Drexler and 184 Aidan Brenot. Drexler sits at #9 by InterMat and #18 by FloWrestling. Brenot is #12 in the InterMat rankings and #19 in Flo.

Fellow 2025 NCAA qualifier 133 Tristan Daugherty is #30 in InterMat and #29 in Flo after moving up from 125 last year. 125 Ezekiel Witt also appears in the InterMat rankings this week at #33.

Potential Bison Dual Debuts
Lawson Eller and Bradley Whitright are on the probable travel list for the Bison this week to Cedar Falls. Eller and Whitright have made appearances at the Bison Open and Whitright was also at the Daktronics Invitational, but would make their first dual start for NDSU if they take the mat against the Panthers.

Bison Claim Three Titles at Daktronics Invite
Devin Wasley, Ezekiel Witt and Drew Blackburn-Forst led the Bison at the Daktronics Invitational, claiming individual titles.

Wasley claimed a win in his 197-pound round robin group with a pair of decision to advance to the first-place match. Wasley topped SDSU's Shane McConville 7-0 before defeating Minnesota's Silas Dailey 5-4. Wasley dominated the final, defeating SDSU's Quin Morgan with a 16-1 tech fall.

Witt picked up three wins at 125 pounds, topping everyone in his group, beginning with a tech fall over Minnesota's Blake Beissel. Witt secured a 5-1 win over SDSU's Logan Graf before an 8-2 win over Daniel Guanajuato of SDSU.

Blackburn-Forst claimed his first Daktronics title at heavyweight, topping fellow Bison Shilo Jones in the final with a win in tiebreakers.

Looking Ahead
North Dakota State will have two weeks off spreading over the Thanksgiving holiday, before returning to action on December 7, as the Bison travel to Minneapolis to take on Minnesota. The dual between the Bison and Gophers is scheduled for a 1 p.m. start at Maturi Pavilion
