INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - North Dakota State wrestling's five national qualifiers received their seeds for the NCAA Wrestling National Championships Wednesday evening, with 125 pounder
Ezekiel Witt leading the way for the Bison.

Witt was tabbed with the No. 16 seed in the 125-pound bracket following a third-place finish at the Big 12 Championships last weekend and a 23-11 redshirt freshman campaign that included six ranked victories, including decision in the quarterfinal, followed by a pin of #11 Jett Strickenberger of West Virginia in the third-place match at the Big 12 Championships. Witt will begin his first NCAA Championships against Strickenberger, the No. 17 seed in the first round.

Junior
Devin Wasley qualified for his first NCAA Championships after a seventh-place finish at the Big 12 Championships last weekend and received the No. 22 seed at 197 pounds. After moving up from 174 in 2024-25, Wasley racked up a 22-10 record this season, which included two top-10 victories and three ranked wins overall. Wasley's first NCAA Championship match will be against No. 11 seed Camden McDaniel of Nebraska.

Earning one of four at-large bids,
Max Petersen was seeded at No. 23 in the 149-pound bracket after a 15-8 campaign with four ranked wins and a sixth-place finish at the Big 12 Championships. Petersen is set to make his first appearance in the NCAA Championships after being the first alternate in 2024 at 149 and missing the postseason in 2025 due to injury. Petersen will go up against No. 10 seed Aden Valencia of Stanford in the first round.

After a blood round finish in his redshirt freshman campaign last year,
Aidan Brenot has been selected as the No. 27 seed in the 184-pound bracket headed into this year's championships. Brenot recorded four wins last week in Tulsa to secure a fourth-place finish at the Big 12 Championships and posted a 16-9 record in his sophomore season. In the first round, Brenot will go up against No. 6 seed Eddie Neitenbach of Wyoming.

2025 149-pound All-American
Gavin Drexler has been seeded No. 28 this year in the 157-pound bracket. The junior posted a 16-10 record on the season, but was dominant down the stretch, winning his final seven duals before taking fifth at the Big 12 Championships, which included a win over Missouri's #16 Teague Travis to secure an automatic bid. Drexler's first round matchup will be against No. 5 seed Landon Robideau of Oklahoma State.

The NCAA Championships are set for March 19-21 in Cleveland, Ohio, being held at Rocket Arena.
