Against Jacksonville State: Wednesday will be the second meeting between the Bison and Gamecocks. The only previous game also came during Thanksgiving week -- an 81-71 Jacksonville State victory on Nov. 27, 2022, in Albuquerque, N.M. Damari Wheeler-Thomas is the lone current Bison who played in that contest.

Against Arkansas State: Friday will be the third meeting all-time between the Bison and Red Wolves, with NDSU leading the series 2-0. NDSU won the first meeting 74-73 in Jonesboro on Dec. 4, 2015, on a step-back, game-winning three by Paul Miller with three seconds left. The following year, the Red Wolves helped open the Scheels Center at the Sanford Health Athletic Complex, playing the season opener in NDSU's new arena on Nov. 11, 2016. The Bison won that game, 76-66.
