BISMARCK, N.D. – The North Dakota State women's cross country team won the Marauders Invite for the 2025 season opener on Friday afternoon, posting a team score of 17 points. Eight of the top nine finishers in the race were Bison.
Senior
Reagan Baesler won the six-kilometer race at McDowell Dam Recreation Area, clocking 20:51.0 to win by a margin of 34 seconds. NDSU sophomore
Mia Hoffmann was the runner-up in 21:25.3, and sophomore
Jenna DeBates took third in 21:31.1.
Logan Harz placed fifth for NDSU in 21:50.0, and freshman
Eva Selensky completed the team scoring for the Bison in 22:20.2 for sixth place.
Kate LeBlanc (22:23) finished seventh,
Kylie Nelson (22:33) was eighth, and
Alyson Kleyman (22:35) took ninth as NDSU recorded eight of the top nine finishers in the meet.
Baesler's time ranks as the 20th-fastest 6k performance in NDSU cross country history.
The Bison will compete next at the Roy Griak Invitational hosted by Minnesota on Sept. 19.
