LINCOLN, Neb. – Sophomore
Kaleb Foltz's record-breaking performance in the 600m headlined the performances of the Bison men's track & field team at the Mark Colligan Memorial hosted by Nebraska on Saturday.
Foltz ran 1:17.71 in the 600m to claim second in the meet and break Jacob Rodin's 2023 record to become the fastest in program history.
Aaron Cummings took third in the pole vault with a personal-best 17-00.75 (5.20m). Cummings is now tied for fifth in NDSU indoor history.
Joshua Kyei-Baffour was the runner-up in the 60m hurdles with a personal-best 7.88. The freshman climbs to No. 5 in NDSU indoor history.
Reece Grosserode won the triple jump for the second-straight week with a personal-best 49-09.25 (15.17m).
Jacob Knodle ran 8:14.64 to take third in his 3000m debut.
Carl Rekow ran a personal-best 8:17.41 to claim sixth. Knodle and Rekow are now No. 5 and No. 7 all-time at NDSU.
Quinn Roehl ran a personal-best 4:09.24 in the mile to finish third.
Zackery Bruder was third in the 400m with a time of 48.43.
The NDSU men finished second out of four schools in the team standings. Nebraska won the men's team title, with the Bison finishing ahead of Wichita State and Boise State.
The Bison will continue the indoor season at the UND Open on January 31.
