The North Dakota State men's basketball team climbed to 12th in the latest College Insider Mid-Major Top 25 released this week.

The Bison were ranked 20th in last week's poll. NDSU improved to 18-5 overall and 8-0 in The Summit League with road wins over Denver and Oral Roberts last week.

The Mid-Major Poll is made up of teams from the following conferences: America East, Atlantic Sun, Big Sky, Big South, Big West, Coastal Athletic, Conference USA, Horizon, Ivy, Metro Atlantic, Mid-American, Mid-Eastern, Missouri Valley, Northeast, Ohio Valley, Patriot, Southern, Southland, Southwestern, Summit, Sun Belt, West Coast, Western Athletic.

NDSU is 8-0 in Summit League play for the first time in school history, and the Bison are one of only seven teams in Division I to have at least seven road wins this season.

The Bison will return to the road to play at South Dakota on Saturday at 5 p.m.
