FARGO, N.D. – For the second straight season, the North Dakota State baseball team will play the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks in an exhibition game.
NDSU will face the RedHawks on Wednesday, May 6 at 6:00 p.m., at Newman Outdoor Field. The RedHawks edged the Bison, 5-4, last season in front of 1,908 fans.
"We're excited for the opportunity to compete against the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks," said head coach
Tyler Oakes. "We thought it was a great experience for our program, the RedHawks and the community of Fargo-Moorhead last season. It was a fun opportunity to showcase our program and play a midweek game at home against professional baseball players. We are hopeful for another great turnout this year and hope to give fans in our area an opportunity to see high-level baseball played by their respective college and pro teams."
Fans will be able to purchase
tickets beginning on Monday, April 6.
NDSU won the Summit League Tournament for the third time in program history last season and went on to make its third appearance in the NCAA Tournament in the Division I era. The Bison will open the 2026 season at Florida Gulf Coast on Feb. 13. First pitch is set for 5:30 p.m. CT
