SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – North Dakota State women's golf was picked to finish in fourth place in the 2026 Summit League Preseason Poll, announced by the league office on Thursday. Senior
Madi Hicks was also named to the golfers to watch list.
Denver received seven of the eight available first-place votes to claim top honors with 49 points. Oral Roberts finished just behind in second, tallying 43 points and the remaining first-place vote. South Dakota closed out the top three with 35 points.
Hicks was acknowledged on the Summit League Women's Golfers to Watch List after a standout fall semester. The senior was the highest placing Bison in the last three tournaments and currently leads the team with a scoring average of 75.00 through 14 rounds.

The Bison will return to action for the spring semester at the Soboba Springs Classic in San Jacinto, California, on February 4-6.
