VERMILLION, S.D. – The North Dakota State men's basketball team pulled out an 89-84 overtime win at South Dakota on Saturday evening, improving to 19-5 overall and 9-0 in The Summit League.

Noah Feddersen sparked the Bison, leading the team with 20 points and nine rebounds off the bench. Sophomore point guard
Andy Stefonowicz recorded his first career double-double with 15 points and a career-high 10 assists.

Tay Smith and
Markhi Strickland both scored 15 points for NDSU, and
Trevian Carson added 14 points and eight boards.

NDSU led by 16 points at 44-28 less than two minutes into the second half. The Coyotes fought all the way back to take a 71-70 lead with 2:29 remaining. The contest went to overtime tied at 74-74 after clutch buckets by Feddersen and Stefonowicz in the final 1:10.

The Bison shot 6-for-7 in overtime, keyed by a pivotal three-pointer from
Tay Smith that put the Bison ahead for good at 81-80.

NDSU became one of six Division I schools to record eight road wins this season. The Bison are 9-0 in The Summit League for the first time in school history.
