NDSU Women’s Basketball Moves Up to No. 11 in College Insider Mid-Major Poll

BOSTON – The North Dakota State women's basketball team jumped up to No. 11 in the latest College Insider Mid-Major Top 25 Poll, the organization announced on Tuesday night.

The Bison (13-2, 2-0 Summit) moved up four spots this week to No. 11, which is the highest ranking in program history. NDSU has been ranked in the poll each of the last five weeks after entering at No. 23 in December. South Dakota State (No. 2) and South Dakota (No. 22) are the only other Summit League schools in the poll. Princeton holds the top spot with an 13-1 overall record and 30 first-place votes.

The Mid-Major Poll is made up of teams from the following conferences: America East, Atlantic Sun, Big Sky, Big South, Big West, Coastal Athletic, Conference USA, Horizon, Ivy, Metro Atlantic, Mid-American, Mid-Eastern, Missouri Valley, Northeast, Ohio Valley, Patriot, Southern, Southland, Southwestern, Summit, Sun Belt, West Coast, Western Athletic.

NDSU, who has won each of its last 11 games, will be back in action hosting Kansas City on Thursday. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m.
