SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – North Dakota State softball's
Jocelyn McClary was named the Summit League Kwik Star Peak Pitcher of the Week, announced the league office Tuesday afternoon.
McClary earns her second Peak Pitcher of the Week honor this season after a 2-0 week in California that included wins over Long Beach State and California Baptist.
The freshman went 5.1 innings against Long Beach State in a 5-2 victory for the Bison during the midweek. She then tossed a complete game shutout over a high-powered California Baptist offense, limiting the Lancers to five hits with four strikeouts in seven innings. It was her second shutout of the season.
McClary scoops up the fourth Summit League Peak Performer/Pitcher honor of the season for the Bison. She joined
Bella Dean in earning accolades following the opening weekend and
Madison Wihlm earned Peak Pitcher honors on March 3.
