
Three Bison Named CSC Academic All-District in Men’s Basketball

FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State University men's basketball team had three student-athletes named to the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, it was announced Tuesday.
Noah Feddersen, Tay Smith and Andy Stefonowicz all earned the honor for NDSU.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's Basketball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
Feddersen (Menomonie, Wis.) was voted the Summit League Sixth Man of the Year after averaging 10.9 points off the bench, shooting 65 percent in league play and 44 percent from three-point range. He earned his bachelor's degree in finance with a 3.65 GPA.
Smith (Bowling Green, Ky.) led the Bison with 75 three-pointers made this season, shooting 46 percent from beyond the arc and averaging 9.4 points in league play. He has a 3.67 GPA, pursuing a graduate degree in sport management.
Stefonowicz (Minnetonka, Minn.) averaged 9.3 points, 5.1 assists and 1.7 steals in league play, shooting 42 percent from beyond the arc. He led the league in assists, recording a pair of double-doubles with points and assists. Stefonowicz owns a 3.67 cumulative GPA with a major in business administration.
In addition, Feddersen and Stefonowicz were selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. Academic All-America® honorees will be announced April 14.
