SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – The North Dakota State men's track & field team led The Summit League with four student-athletes voted to the Academic All-League team for the 2026 indoor season.

Jeran McNichols,
Paul Olson and
Carl Rekow all earned the honor by virtue of their athletic and academic achievements.

McGlynn (Stephen, Minn.) earned a bachelor's degree in agricultural economics with a 4.0 GPA and now has a 4.0 pursuing a master's of business administration. He earned first team All-America honors by placing seventh in the heptathlon at the NCAA Indoor Championships, as well as claiming Summit League Championships Field MVP.

McNichols (Bismarck, N.D.) owns a 3.98 GPA as a biological sciences major. He placed fourth in the 60m dash at the Summit League Championships.

Olson (Oxbow, N.D.) had a 4.0 GPA for his degree in management information systems and now owns a 4.0 graduate GPA in pursuit of his MBA. He was the Summit League champion in the heptathlon this season.

Rekow (Bettendorf, Iowa) is a biological sciences major with a 4.0 GPA. He took third in the mile and sixth in the 3000m at the Summit League meet.

To be eligible for The Summit League Academic All-League team, a student-athlete must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.30 (on a 4.00 scale), completed at least one full academic year at the current institution and participated in 50 percent of their team's competitions. The award is voted on by the institutions' faculty athletic representatives and sports information directors.
