Goss Claims Steeplechase School Record

AZUSA, Calif. – North Dakota State junior Brady Goss broke the school record in the 3,000m steeplechase to headline the performances of the Bison men's track & field team at a pair of meets on Thursday.

At the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, Calif., Goss ran 8:46.27 in the steeplechase to break Jake Januszewski's NDSU record (8:48.67) from 2007 by a margin of 2.4 seconds. It was also a new personal-best for Goss – a Devils Lake, N.D., native and transfer from Concordia-Moorhead.

NDSU's sprinters and hurdlers competed at the Dewey Donat Classic hosted by Northern State University in Aberdeen, S.D., on Thursday. Ramon Duran (53.45), Otto Anderson (53.97), and Joshua Beil (54.40) finished 1-2-3 in the 400m hurdles.

Brooks Turner won the 110m hurdles in 13.95.

Jayden Murdock ran 10.70 in the 100m dash for fifth place at Northern State, and Tyler Milkes was sixth in 10.71. Murdock also took third in the 200m in 22.03.
