North Dakota State Signs Andrew Nagy

FARGO, N.D. – The North Dakota State men's basketball program has signed transfer Andrew Nagy to its 2026 recruiting class, head coach David Richman announced Thursday, May 21.
Nagy is a 6-foot-9 forward from Anaheim, Calif., who played last season at Division II Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego.
Nagy was named the PacWest Conference Player of the Year, All-PacWest first team, D2CCA All-West Region first team, and NABC All-West District first team as a sophomore in the 2025-26 season. He led the team with 15.5 points and 6.1 rebounds per game, shooting 62 percent overall and 36.5 percent from three-point range.
"The Bison Family is excited to add Andrew today," said Richman. "He brings a strong desire to win and a drive to get better every day through hard work. A tremendous family and past coaches have instilled that work ethic in him, making him a great addition to our roster."
Nagy played in 26 games as a freshman at Long Beach State in 2024-25, averaging 18 minutes per contest.
NDSU swept the 2026 Summit League regular season and tournament championships and earned its sixth NCAA Tournament berth since 2009.
