AT WISCONSIN-STEVENS POINT (2010-11): Played 20 games his junior year for the Pointers at the Division III level...Averaged 5.7 minutes and 2.1 points per game off the bench...Season-high six points and three steals twice in back-to-back games against Colorado College and Simpson College.
AT NDSCS (2008-10): Played two years of junior college ball at North Dakota State College of Science in Wahpeton, where he was a two-time NJCAA All-Academic performer in the classroom...Averaged 8.5 points and 4.7 rebounds per game his sophomore year for the 23-9 Wildcats.
HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated in 2008 from Hankinson High School...Four-year all-conference and all-district performer in basketball...All-state pick in 2007 and 2008...Runner-up for North Dakota's "Mr. Basketball" award his senior year after begin named District 1 and Region 1 player of the year...Finished with over 1,000 points and 1,000 rebounds in his career...Set school records in points, rebounds, assists and steals...Also a two-time all-state football player and three-time state qualifier in the discus throw.
PERSONAL: Majoring in management...Son of Bill and Sandy Mauch of Mooreton, N.D...Youngest of four children in the family including two brothers, Luke and Jared, and a sister, Stacy...His cousin, Andrew Mauch, competed on the NDSU track and field team.
