Bison Open
North Dakota State hosts the 54th annual Bison Open wrestling tournament Sunday, Nov. 9, 2025, at Scheels Center in the Sanford Health Athletic Complex.
SCHEDULE:
7 a.m. -- Doors Open to Athletes
7:45 a.m. -- Skin Checks
8 a.m. -- Weigh-Ins
10 a.m. --Wrestling Begins
WEIGHTS: All 10 NCAA weights will be used with no weight allowance.
REGISTRATION:
Registration must be done online at www.trackwrestling.com. Please contact Nick@bout-tech.com or Scott.Mattingly@ndsu.edu, if you have questions.
Final registration at 7-9 a.m., Saturday Nov. 9 inside the Scheels Center.
SEEDING: Outstanding wrestlers and teammates will be separated as much as possible.
- Any coach interested in helping with this process.
- Make sure you indicate those wrestlers that you think worthy of seeding with information regarding past accomplishments.
- If you have more than two (2) in a weight class please rank them so we can separate the team correctly.
WRESTLE BACKS: We will have wrestle backs to 6th place.
AWARDS: Awards will be given to the top 3 placers.
ELIGIBILITY: Open to all post-high school wrestlers. Please indicate those wrestlers who are competing as UNATTACHED on the same form.
RULES: NCAA rules will be followed
- Seven minute matches (3-2-2)
ENTRY FEE: $25.00 per entry
WEIGHT CHANGE: There will be a $10.00 penalty for weight class changes at weigh-ins.
