Amy (Herrington) Phillips joined the NDSU track & field staff as a volunteer assistant coach after completing her collegiate career for the Bison in 2022.
 
Phillips was a two-time NCAA All-American while competing at NDSU, placing 15th in the weight throw at the NCAA Indoor Championships in 2021 and taking 15th in the hammer throw at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in 2022.
 
Phillips ranks second-best in NDSU history for both the hammer throw and weight throw, and she was a three-time Summit League champion in the events.
 
Phillips is a native of Henley-on-Thames, England.
