Biography

The 2004-05 Season: Brandee enjoyed her first full collegiate season of action on the basketball court and the results were impressive ... Played in all 27 games for North Dakota State in 2004-05 ... Averaged 10.6 points, 5.2 rebounds and 1.9 blocked shots in 16.7 minutes per game ... Connected on 53.6% from the field and 74.1% from the foul line ... Added 27 assists and 14 steals ... Selected to the Division I Independent Newcomer Team ... In the final Division I Independent statistics, she was No. 1 in blocked shots, No. 2 in field goal shooting, No. 9 in free throw percentage and 14th in scoring ... Named the Division I Independent Player of the Week on Jan. 25 after leading NDSU to a pair of wins including the 78-68 road victory at South Dakota State ... Scored 20 points, grabbed nine rebounds and blocked two shots vs. SDSU (1-22-05) ... Made a career-high 8-of-11 free throws against the Jackrabbits ... Scored 14 points and dished out a career-high five assists earlier that week against Dakota Wesleyan ... Reached double-figures in scoring in 15 games including a career-high 21 points against Bentley College (1-2-05), hitting 10-of-16 from the field ... Recorded three "daily doubles" including the 13 point and career-high 14 rebound effort in the season opener against Dickinson State (11-19-04) ... Also tied the NDSU single-game record with her career-high seven blocked shots against Dickinson State ... The 2003-04 Seaon: Brandee was again bit by the injury bug, missing all but two games because of a knee injury ... Had four points, a rebound and a blocked shot.

At Ohio State: Brandee was slowed by injuries for the Buckeyes in 2002 and 2003 ... Granted a medical redshirt in 2001-02 and played in just five games ... Averaged 1.1 points and 0.7 rebounds in 4.9 minutes per game appearing in 14 games for OSU in 2002-03 ... Connected on 33% from the field and 33% from the foul line ... Added two assists, a pair of blocked shots and two steals ... The Buckeyes compiled a 22-10 record and advanced to the 2003 NCAA tournament ... Also went on the Buckeyes' European Tour.

High School Days: A 2001 graduate of Orono High School ... Played for former NDSU player Ann (Schueller) Peiler at Orono ... One of five finalists for Minnesota's "Miss Basketball" during her senior year ... Averaged 18 points and 11 rebounds per game in leading Orono to a 23-5 record and state tournament quarterfinals in 2001 ... Member of the first basketball team at Orono, boys or girls, to advance to the state tourney ... Selected as one of the top 100 seniors nationally by Blue Star ... Earned All-Minnesota first team honors as a senior and was honorable mention all-state as a junior ... Honorable mention on Street & Smith's High School All-America team ... Ranks No. 2 all-time at Orono in scoring (1,400 points), and holds the school records for rebounds (840) and blocked shots (275) ... Three-time all-conference and two-time all-metro selection ... Named the league's Female Athlete of the Year as a senior ... Orono compiled an 81-20 record during her four-year basketball career ... Also a three-year all-conference softball player for Orono, playing through her junior season ... No. 2 all-time in strikeouts for the Spartans.
