Dan Johnson joined the North Dakota State University athletic training staff in the summer of 2025 as an assistant athletic trainer for the Bison men’s basketball team.

Johnson came to NDSU from the University of Wisconsin-Stout, where he served as an assistant athletic trainer during the 2024-25 season with the football, men’s basketball and women’s lacrosse programs.

A graduate of the University of Wisconsin, Johnson earned a master’s degree in athletic training and worked as an athletic training student for the football and men’s basketball teams.
