David Haag joined the North Dakota State University athletic department as the director of production and live events in December 2023.
Haag is responsible for running the video control room in the Sanford Health Athletic Complex for home basketball and wrestling events in the Scheels Center, and he coordinates the live streaming of NDSU home events on Summit League Network.
Haag came to NDSU from Mount St. Mary's in Maryland, where he was the coordinator of live productions handling all ESPN3 and ESPN+ broadcasts for the school for one-and-a-half seasons.
He also spent one year in The Summit League working as the director of live events at Omaha, where he was a game day producer and videoboard director for volleyball, hockey, basketball, soccer, baseball and softball.
Haag started his professional career as a crew house associate with Midco Sports in Lawrence, Kan. He also worked as a live event director for the 2022 U.S. Olympic Curling Trials.
A native of Tecumseh, Kan., Haag graduated from Pittsburg State University with a bachelor's degree in communications.
