Mackayla Schuelke was named director of basketball operations on July 16, 2021. She returns to the staff after being a manager for three seasons while completing her bachelor’s degree in sport management at North Dakota State from 2017-20.

During her time as a manager, Schuelke organized equipment needed for practice and games, assisted with travel plans and game day operations, analyzed statistics, coordinated film exchange with opponents and helped with summer camps.

Schuelke is a native of Milbank, S.D. and is currently pursuing her master's degree in business administration.
