Ryan Gerard joined the North Dakota State University athletic department in October 2025 as a consultant for ticket sales and services with Playfly Sports at NDSU.

Gerard came to NDSU from the Memphis Redbirds, where he was a ticket sales and service representative for the Triple-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals during the 2025 season.

Originally from Staples, Minn., he gained undergraduate experience as a campus recreation supervisor at Minnesota State University Mankato and was an intern for the marketing and promotions team.

Gerard graduated from Minnesota State in December 2022 with a bachelor's degree in sport management. He earned a master's degree in sport media and communications from Colorado State in May 2024.
