Rose Jackson was hired as assistant director of business operations for the North Dakota State University athletic department in April 2021.
Jackson was an NCAA All-American in track and field for North Dakota State before joining the athletic staff as a graduate assistant for athletic administration, a role in which she specialized in business operations and planning and execution of special events.
Jackson earned first-team All-America honors in the pentathlon as a senior in 2017, placing eighth at the NCAA Indoor Championships with a school-record score of 4,142 points. She was named the Summit League Indoor Field Athlete of the Year after winning four events at the conference indoor meet.
Outdoors, Jackson was a 2017 NCAA Championships qualifier in the long jump and 4x400m relay, earning second-team All-America status in the long jump. She won five events at the Summit League Outdoor Championships as a senior in 2017 -- the heptathlon, long jump, 100m dash, 200m dash, and 4x100m relay -- and was named the conference Outdoor Track Athlete of the Year.
Jackson graduated from North Dakota State in 2017 with a double major in mathematics and computer science. She completed a master's degree in business administration at NDSU in 2020.
