Border States congratulates Vanessa Anderson, one of this week's Border States Electric Student-Athletes of the Week.
Anderson, a senior softball player from Rochester, Minn., has a 3.951 GPA in exercise science. She has started all 51 games at first base for the Summit League champions and is hitting .291 with 10 home runs and 37 runs batted in. Anderson hit 5-for-9 with three RBIs as the Bison took two out of three games from North Dakota on the final weekend of the regular season. She enters the Summit League tournament on an eight-game hitting streak.
