Border States congratulates Evan Kottsick, one of this week's Border States Electric Student-Athletes of the Week.

Kottsick, a senior from Fargo, holds the Shelly Ellig Indoor Track & Field Facility record in the 1000m, ranking seventh all-time at NDSU in the event. He also appears on NDSU's all-time Top 10 lists in the distance medley relay indoors and the 4x1600m relay outdoors. 

Kottsick earned a bachelor's degree in biological sciences and is now pursuing a master's in public health.
