Border States congratulates Paige Vargas, one of this week's Border States Electric Student-Athletes of the Week.

Vargas, an exercise science major, pitched a complete game shutout over the University of North Dakota Saturday. The Mission Viejo, Calif. native struck out five batters while only giving up three hits in the 8-0 win, improving Vargas' ERA to 3.86 on the season.
