Border States congratulates KK Leddy, one of this week's Border States Electric Student-Athletes of the Week.
Leddy, a junior pitcher from Middleburg, Fla., had eight strikeouts in a complete-game win over Columbia at the UC Riverside Classic, where she surrendered just two earned runs in 14 innings of work. She struck out four in a 1-0 loss to Boise State.
Leddy has a 3-2 record with a 2.70 ERA and 43 strikeouts in 46 2/3 innings of work this season. A two-time All-Summit League performer, she maintains a 3.405 GPA majoring in journalism.
